IDTA Examinations taken in Ballet, Tap & Freestyle
Based in Sale, Cheshire, Prime Dance School was opened by Principal, Anna Montgomerie in 2006. We offer dance classes for children and toddlers from age 2+ covering many different dance styles including Freestyle, Ballet, Tap, Pointe, Jazz, Acrobatics, Lyrical Hip Hop and Commercial.
Classes are open for anyone who would like to join in, have fun and learn to dance. Our students are given many exciting opportunities to perform in shows and competitions and also take part in IDTA exams.

Freestyle Dance Examinations
Prime Dance Freestyle Dance examinations will take place on:
Sunday 18th May 2025 from 9.00am to approx. 12.00pm.
Each exam runs between 10-20 minutes depending on your grade.
For students that wish to take their exam, please make sure that you email (primedance12@outlook.com), or text Anna (07805222712), with the full name of the student and the age that the student will be on the day of the exam. Please note that exams are NOT COMPULSORY!

Please let Anna know if you will be taking your exam by Saturday 3rd May so the timetable can be scheduled.
If anyone requires a specific time slot, please let Anna know ASAP and we will try our very best to accommodate you.
WHAT TO WEAR
Exam uniform - Freestyle...
All black- top or leotard.
(no logos unless Prime Dance t-shirt).
Black leggings/ dance pants/ shorts.
Dance shoes or bare feet.
Hair in ponytail, bun or French plaits - no fringes.
No jewellery to be worn, with the exception of stud earrings only.
